Having bought a horse with no saddle and where we couldn’t get anything to fit we found chunky monkey saddles.  Absolutely love the saddle from Chunky Monkey Saddles and can’t recommend Sam enough……fabulous, expert and caring ‘can do’ service from the beginning and from afar.

I rode in my new Chunky Monkey Dressage Saddle today it was very comfortable I love that I was able to choose the leather, seat, flap length & stitching that I wanted it fits my boy perfectly & the process was quick & painless from tracing to finished product I will defiantly order from Chunky Monkey again!  I love the name it fits my boy!

This saddle allows free movement in the shoulder area for your horse. Can’t stress enough the difference it has made to myself and my beloved cob. Just wish I’d had one sooner.

I’ve recently bought a freedom jump for my awkward Connie x warmblood – I’ve had him for nearly 5 years and often been told that nothing off the peg will fit him and how odd he is! I msgd Sam with some pictures of him and what I wanted as had been struggling to jump and sit to him in a straight cut saddle as a last ditch attempt to find something suitable. Basically I couldn’t be happier, the saddle that arrived was only 1/4 of a width out and it’s beautifully soft with supportive blocks! I’m sure that if he hadn’t been out of work for nearly a month in between the pictures being sent and receiving the saddle that it would have been bang on. I was a bit wary ordering at first as knew that I was too far away for Sam to check it personally but she assured me that it could be changed if it wasn’t suitable and was very helpful. Great Saddles, lovely quality, excellent fit!

Just had my second chunky monkey saddle made for my other very fussy awkward mare, Once again Sam has done a fantastic job working just off of templates and photos she’s managed to get both saddles spot on and now we have two very happy mares and one very secure happy rider! I can not recommend these saddles enough, thank you Sam!
